Children are fairly well behaved once you build relationships with them, and there is a strong pastoral system in place to help manage more challenging students.

Cons

Staff bullying which is accepted and supported by management Harassment via personal email & phone. All staff encouraged to use Whatsapp outside of work hours Emails consistently sent outside of work hours, at weekends and during holidays. No designated PPA time, despite it being a statutory requirement Excessive workload and no work life balance - this includes 12 parents evenings a year, 12 data collections with less than a 1 week turn around, excessive number of meetings per week (up to 4 per night), excessive number of duties including lunchtimes High level of stress due to culture of bullying and intrusive daily lesson observations - sometimes 3 to 4 times a day Staff are directed to work over 300 hours in excess of the 1265 directed time hours a year, and this does not include any after school events or parent's evenings. High staff turnover Misleading job advertisements and false promises of TLRs No consideration of staff wellbeing whatsoever
