Pros

Great teaching staff who always pull together and support one another. Great balance between pushing for exam results and the pastoral care for the students. The students are lovely and really want to do well on the whole. Detentions are generally dealt with by SLT and the behaviour system is very good.

Cons

Uniform is shocking and a constant battle. The buildings are old and run down, so lots of leaks when it rains.

Dedicated teaching staff who were very good at their job and great people to work with.

Cons

Dysfunctional management who offered virtually no support to staff. Blame instead was what was dished out. Behaviour system was not supported by the senior staff, especially the head of behaviour. Any time a student was removed from lesson was treated as an inconvenience for whichever senior staff member had to deal with it. Students were effectively forgotten about in KS3 and left to run riot, leaving those who did want to achieve constantly feeling let down.
