Some lovely staff at the school ( NOT SLT) - although many have now left

A terrible Head teacher who after a few years at the school has created a truly horrible work enviroment. I agree with the below post and would also call it a toxic work place. I would not recommend anyone to take a job here. You can never give enough and the hours just get longer and longer. The facilities are very poor compared to other private schools and rooms are small. After the head being at the school fof a few years she has lost so many good members of staff.

senior leadership show no care for staff welfare at all and I feel they created an extremely toxic working environment . I would not recommend working here.

Pros

Other teachers and teaching assistants ( not SLT) are supportive and helpful. It's what keeps people there.

Cons

SLT not supportive of staff at all. Have seen people pushed out due to very normal personal problems where a little flexibility could have kept the staff there. Very long school day and then expected to work in school clubs before and after. Rarely given positive feedback but always asked to do more. It is never enough. Headmistress rarely leaves her office and doesn't seem to really spend any time in classrooms.
