"A sinking ship"
Pros
Largely nice pupils, rural school in lovely setting. A great place to work if you've no interest in promotion and want to focus on teaching. The building is old and the school is very behind others when it comes to technology.
Cons
SLT roles are for PE staff. There is a small number of toxic staff that will grind you down if they feel your face doesn't fit. Clique culture is alive and living here. The main focus of school is on keeping the parents happy and allowing pupils to call the shots. If you keep your head down, say yes to everything and don't question leadership decisions, you'll be just fine.
