Pros

You can identify a Trust employee. They don’t smile or make you feel welcome. They pay you on time

Cons

Change timetables at the drop of a hat Expect revision classes to take place during holidays without pay No room for teachers to be individuals in the classroom, every teacher must teach the same Constantly being watched, monitored Undermined - removal of classrooms and schemes of work without consultation Dislike anyone outside the Trust Managed to make my school (one that had a committed talented staff) and push it to a strike situation. Completely mismanaged staff

Pros

Decent staff, good teachers.

Cons

Any excuse to stop teachers moving up the pay scale. Eg pregnancy. High turnover of staff, most stay for about 2 years. The Trust hates unions, at least 3 reps have been bullied out.

Pros

Well being is a top priority. Free gym for staff and exercise/ yoga classes. The head is lovely, buys the staff's children Xmas presents from her own money and creates personalised Santa videos for them. SLT listen and are supportive.

Cons

It is in a deprived area and the students are challenging. The school has high expectations and the is alot of quality assurance. No where to hide for an underpermforming teacher (not a bad thing, but some find it tough). You have to stay on site until 4pm and lots of meetings / compulsory staff training.
