Pros

Well behaved children with supportive parents in a nice area.

Cons

Claire Robinson (Headteacher) and Carly May (Deputy Head) are bullies! You only have to read the negative reviews from so many of the staff that have left or are wanting to leave to see this obvious! Micromanaging staff. Staff forced to leave. Asked to do impossible and pointless tasks weekly. No care for the children or staffs mental health. Confrontational draconian approach. Teachers stressed, upset and not valued. I have never felt so worthless and unappreciated. They will make your life a misery if you dare to question something or suggest a different approach towards something. No creativity allowed. All of the fun is taken out of the teaching and for the poor children it is just heartbreaking. It is utterly toxic and I genuinely worry about the staff and children who step foot in this school.

Parents and children

Cons

I started at the school as a NQT. I lasted a year and because of the traumatising experience I have left the teaching profession altogether. All of the comments, bar the last, are sadly very true.

Pros

Exceptional school led by a dedicated Head Teacher and supported by excellent leaders. The school is a happy place to work. The school prides itself on putting the children at the centre of everything they do. The Head Teacher cares about the education and happiness of each and every child and the staff. The school has high expectations and fantastic results because it is a great place to work. I loved my time working there, I think sometimes some people do not want to be dedicated to the education of the children and putting the children first! Hence negative untrue comments!!

Cons

None applicable.

Pros

Getting out of the worst place I have ever step foot in!

Cons

The place is simply awful. The headteacher and her minions of SLT Team are corrupt. From the minute I started working here I could tell there was a bad vibe around school. Copious amounts of observations, staff leaving in abundance, publically humiliating staff and children, work scrutinising every week, discussing parents in a derogatory manner, staff crying in their classroom, staff off sick with stress, staff admitting they are โ€˜scaredโ€™ of the headteacher and worried what mood she is going to be in, hearing from staff who have worked there for a longer period of time (there isnโ€™t many) how the school didnโ€™t use to be like this but how all of the staff who had been there years have fled because of the new management team and the way they lead the school by fear. I urge you not to work here or send your children here.

Nice children and parents

Cons

Everything! Bullying mentality. Toxic staff. Headteacher threatening to not give you a reference and if she does it will be a terrible one. Publically humiliating staff. Claire Robinson is a bully to the core and should not be able to work with children.
